The Victory Chimp take on this winter staple combines 100% Recycled Sherpa Fleece and our signature colour combos with thoughtful details and features to make it your go-to cold weather layer. Designed for the outdoors, however you like to enjoy them.

The Out There Fleece is a super-versatile, warm, windproof layer in an easy-wearing jacket style, allowing you to explore in comfort through the cooler months. Throw it over our trail shirts for gravel rides or commutes. Layer up for your next walk/run/climb/camp. Styled for when the trails end in café or pub.

Using fabrics tested over two winters in the Sperrin Mountains, the durable synthetic sherpa fleece is both highly insulating and breathable, wicking away moisture to regulate your body temperature during more strenuous activities. Elastic lining to the hood, hem, cuffs keeps the cold out, with adjustable drawcords and thumb holes providing the perfect cosy fit.

Pocketfest 2024. Two hand pockets (with mesh inner phone pocket), two internal pockets, three proper rear cargo pockets and an easy-access chest pocket provide flexible secure storage for all your essentials. Since bringing the three back pockets of the classic cycling jersey over to our everyday outerwear, we wonder how we ever did without them.

The Out There Velcro Patch Set is included with the each fleece to make it your own. Velcro hook backing attaches securely to the loop patches on each arm, with six options to easily change up with each wear.

You won't want to wear anything else (on top)

This hoody has been everything that I've wanted from a hoody: structured, warm, perfect fit (go for a Large if you're around 5' 11") and a delight to ride in. I cannot wait until payday to get the other colour scheme for this hoody. I recommend this very highly.

You had me at banana pocket.

I’ve absolutely loved this fleece. It’s super warm and cosy so it feels like a treat popping this on, particularly after a cold ride. I love the smooth, secure zipped pockets, one of which has an elasticated mesh sleeve that holds a banana (or more usefully a phone). The colours are lovely; I’ve had lots of compliments from people.

The sizing is on the small side. I had a look at the size chart: I’m normally somewhere between a medium and large and definitely needed the large in this garment. I’d say they are probably an athletic cut.

I’ve worn this at work when using my laptop on a table, I noticed quite quickly that if you leave your elbows on the table while wearing this, the pile compresses in that area. I wonder if it might be worth having some elbow patches in these areas? It might be that I’m using it outside its intended purpose on the trails!

I love the Velcro patches on the sleeves. They are colour matched, so not obvious if you want to go patch-free. Along with the patches provided with the fleeces, they are a nice way of adding your own style to the garment.

Nice warm jacket. Changeable badges and styling stands out from a sea of fleeces.
