The Team Chimp Collection hails from an alternate 1985, a Planet of the Apes-esque timeline wherein a team of plucky primates raided the pro tour. Echoing our own era of sponsor logo patchwork jerseys, the Victory Chimp team kit was adorned with the marques of ape-led businesses large and small, from Belgian building materials suppliers Kongcrete to shady pharmaceuticals giant Zaius Labs. Ultimately the discovery of performance enhancing bananas onboard the team bus brought an end to the simian dream, but let's ignore that and celebrate this all too brief moment in alternative cycling history.
