When it came to refining our women’s bib shorts, one problem had top priority - bib straps making it impossible take mid-ride comfort breaks without removing your jersey first. Particularly in colder weather when multiple layers and more discomfort are involved.

We solved this by introducing a magnetic closure to the rear of the straps, enabling quick release of the straps with one hand, and quick relief without removing any other clothing. Positioned for easy access just below the jersey back pockets, the clasp is constructed with injection molded plastic for resilience, ensuring it will never come undone. It is attached to the shorts with a durable grosgrain fabric. A thicker section of brushed fabric is positioned between the buckle and the skin for padding. This system allows for quick removal without compromising comfort or performance.

The culmination of two years research and development, the main fabric is an incredibly soft, four-way stretch woven lycra in an ergonomic six-panel construction, moving with the body to ensure optimum fit and support.

An award-winning CyTech Elastic Interface® Endurance 2.5 HD women’s-specific chamois provides supreme comfort in the saddle on the very longest rides, utilising dual high-density foams and an anatomic fit to reduce bulk and pressure, ensuring maximum protection and blood flow. Integrated silicone grippers keep the legs in place with just the right level of compression at the thigh, finishing just above the knee with a smooth seamless laser cut edge. Minimal flatlock seams are positioned carefully throughout to hold the shorts in place in the highest comfort.

The bib section uses high-stretch material to accommodate longer torsos and a lightweight mesh to keep the upper section cool. Low profile, laser cut straps eliminate chafing and barely show beneath even the closest fitting jerseys.

The shorts are made from 100% pre-dyed fabrics, meaning they will remain a deep navy when stretched and after washing. Finished with minimal branding to go with any jersey, reflective logo to each leg and woven tag to the rear.

Great bib shorts

These are my first bib shorts - previously I've just been a shorts gal but I am converted after a recent 60k hilly cycle. Very comfy, padding in all the right places and everything stays where it should thanks to the grippy legs and comfortable straps. The quick release strap is a bonus which I didn't even realise I needed. The size guide is accurate too which is great.

Beautiful, Comfy bib shorts

Lovely fit, great looking shorts with a good pad that was comfy on long rides. The easy release strap makes comfort breaks less faffy. New favourite bib shorts found!

The holy grail of women’s bibs

These bibs are my first Victory Chimp purchase but my 4th set of bibs. These are (by a very long way) the best I’ve had.
Things that are excellent about them:
1. Pockets - so few bibs have pockets so having two is a big deal!

2. Drop seat clipper thing - I went to the toilet in a cubicle without feeling like I was about smother myself getting out of all my kit just so I could pee. This is a big deal, as a person who easily smothercates I felt extremely smug popping the clip and peeing with 4 top layers still intact.

3. Excellent fit - no insane compression here which also means no sausage legs, just a very comfortable light grip and robust, clinging but not squeezy material.

4. The chamois.. Last but by no means least - the pad is perfect. PERFECT. Nobody has ever said that about a pad before, there’s always something not too great about them. This one isn’t heavily moulded and the stitching is off the padding itself. This means your skin doesn’t take on stitching as part of itself for no apparent reason other than to torture you. No no, the skin puts no pressure on the stitching, it’s excellent!

I bought these after trying gore, Madison, rapha and Pearl Izumi. All of them had varying features or a lack of features that made them not ideal. These ones had things I needed, namely pockets and a drop seat option because nobody want to have to fully undress themselves halfway through a sweaty ride. Nobody. Even the person who says they don’t mind it definitely minds it. Or if they had these bibs they’d soon realise they really did mind it when they wore their non drop functional bibs.
I couldn’t see any pictures of the chamois which led me to not be totally sure about buying them.
I’ve had the gel moulded type, the heavily foam moulded, the mega stitched, the no moulding, thick, thin, I’ve tried so many…none of them are comfortable for long rides. They dig in where they shouldn’t, they leave embossing in the skin where they shouldn’t and to be honest they just…shouldn’t be allowed!

I took the plunge and bought these ones and took them out for 100km as a perhaps slightly daring test ride. They were SO comfortable! I’ve since done longer rides, road rides and gravel rides and they are not giving me any problems at all. I firmly believe these may just be the holy grail of women’s bibs. A holy grail you can easily empty your bladder while wearing. I want for nothing more.

Fantastic fit good quality material

I have been looking for good quality cargo bib shorts for long rides and these are amazing they are true to size as well , the fabric it top quality . I haven’t tested them on a long ride yet but can’t wait to try them
