    A super-light windproof and water-repellent Spring/Autumn (or Irish Summer) essential with integrated Banana Positioning Technology™.

    The Victory Chimp signature gilet packs light and small into its own stuff sack, ready in your jersey pocket to keep the core dry in showers and warm on descents. The windproof front panel provides a barrier against chills while rear and side mesh panels prevent moisture build up and regulate temperature. Elastic arm holes and hem ensure a close fit, keeping the wind out with no excess fabric to flap around.

    The rear middle pocket operates as an integrated stuff sack, flanked by two full rear pockets for ride essentials. Finished with 3M reflective tape detailing and woven Victory Chimp flag tag.

    **All jerseys and gilets are close/race fitting with less forgiving fabrics. So if in doubt, on the upper end of a size’s range, or prefer a more relaxed fit, we recommend going up one size. Most will need to go up one size from usual jersey size!**

    Our gilets are designed to be layered with our jersey range, you will be the same size you are in our signature jerseys.

    Best of my gilets

    A good gilet needs to be close fitting but elastic. 2 way zips useful to access pockets. Ideally fits in its own pocket. This meets all criteria

    Great gillet

    Everything you'd expect from a cycling gilet. Good materials and construction. Great colour options. Nice features like the 2 way zip and key loop. Sizing is accurate but snug so if you are on the bigger end of your size range you may want to size up!

    Another good product from the excellent Victory Chimp. My 2nd VC Gilet, and I like the addition of gaps to allow access to jersey pockets below. I admit I did think it was black with the pattern on top, not the navy it actually it is. Do VC make contact lenses or specs?
